An In-Home Security Camera Catches A Home Invasion in Progress

To date, over 541,000 people have watched this YouTube video, which shows a home invasion in progress. The video not only records the entire home invasion on CCTV, but runs simultaneously with the homeowner’s 911 call, creating a full-fledged “movie replay” with sound and high definition film.

The video launches with the homeowner’s 911 telephone call to report an intruder in her home. She reports seeing a lone man walking around the house, though he is soon joined by a second, and, shortly thereafter, a third man.

The homeowner’s three dogs were at home during the break-in, but apparently didn’t bark or act to thwart the intruders. The homeowner’s quick call to 911 made the difference, though. During the three-minute video, the police were dispatched and did arrive before the intruders could escape.
